Mr. Harry Hosford had a Great Lakes Freighter named after him in the early 1900's. Grouping includes, Photos, Painted Tin, Misc Documents.
An Original Wooden Sign from the Ship. It was originally the F.B. Squire in 1906, then renamed The Harry Hosford in 1936. This sign has Both Names!!

Harry Hosford Sr was a multi-millionaire in the 30-40's. Even having a ship named after him, and was well known for his philanthropy work; even being on the cover of Time Magazine!! His Great-Aunt worked closely with President Woodrow Wilson. Much of their family heritage, Harry Jr. had preserved and will be sold in this Auction.
